Authorise your driving school
On My CBR you can arrange your affairs with the CBR. Simple and fast. You must first log in with your own DigiD. If you use a public computer, make sure your data is sufficiently secure. Are you finished? Then don’t forget to log off.
How does DigiD work?
You’ll leave My CBR for a brief moment and enter the DigiD website. After logging in with your personal DigiD, you will automatically return to My CBR.
Don’t have a DigiD yet?
Apply for your DigiD at digid.nl. Never use someone else’s DigiD, not even your parents, children, brother’s or sister’s.
How to authorise your driving school?
Only your driving school can apply for your practical exam. Of course, your driving school must have permission to do so. You give permission by authorising your driving school. This is how it works:
1. Find out the number of your driving school. This can be found at www.rijschoolgegevens.nl. Choose ‘Car’ and enter the name or location of your driving school. If you click on your driving school, you will see the driving school number there. Please write this number down.
2. Check whether you already have a DigiD. Don’t have a DigiD yet? Then apply for it, free of charge, via digid.nl. You will receive a code to activate your DigiD within 5 days. Remember your login details well.
3. Then go to mijn.cbr.nl, click on the DigiD logo and log in.
4. After filling in the driving school number on mijn.cbr.nl, check whether the name of the driving school on the screen is the same as the driving school name you know and which is on your lesson vehicle. The CBR checks the driving school name during the exam.
5. Your driving school will receive an e-mail confirming the authorisation.
6. You will also receive an e-mail confirming the authorisation.

To do this, you must log in with your own DigiD. Make sure your data is properly secured when using a public computer. When you’re done, don’t forget to log out!

What is the personal declaration for?
The personal declaration contains a number of questions about your physical and mental condition. The examination centre needs your self-declaration to assess your fitness to drive. You must fill in this form to apply for a driver’s license. You can easily buy and fill in a self-declaration on My CBR. You can also buy a self-declaration on paper. You can buy this from the CBR. Please note that you can often only pay with pin here. You can also get a self-declaration from your driving school or municipalities. We recommend that you check in advance whether your local authority sells the self-declaration form at the counter. Always contact your driving school about this.
